I was at Jaspers yesterday and a biker bloke called Olly came over.

He is staging a peaceful pro-*test*-('") up on the Hoe I think August 3rd. He said 1st but thats not a Sunday.

Anyway he said that he has had loads of problems with parking there coz disabled and other car drivers park in the bike space. He said that him and others have been spat at, threatened and the police called loads just for trying to park legally.

His plan is to meet at Jaspers at 8.30 am and for as many people on 2 wheels as possible to go and take up as many car parking spaces as possible on the Hoe. He has an email from the head of parking at Plymouth City Council that says bikes & scoots can park in car spaces for free! Its true I read it.

He has notified both the council and the police he wll be doing it and would like as much support as possible. Its only for a couple of hours and free tea and coffee will be supplied.

He basically wants to prove a point and piss off as many motorists as possible for the morning.
