This place, Bahrain, is like my balls, hot and sticky! I'm sure you knew that anyway, but my boss had a few tipples last night so he said once we're done then secure the lads and relax until they actually pipe leave; then to the PX on the Yank base here, I will go and plunder! We are done now so I will chill out now until the dosh is distributed down the messes as well.



There's a rugby match on tonight against the Bahrain exiles so I will be watching that, my playing days are long gone and will attempt to drink the bar dry. Saying that, I best not go silly, as I am duty tomorrow and have to handle a weapon so best not smell like a brewery first thing.



What else is new, we will be doing a patrol for 3 weeks of the oil platforms up the NAG (nortern Area Gulf), and then back to some toilet which I cannot name, yet. I understand it is not dry, which is just as well as we were going to Kuwait City but that has been shit canned and too fucking right as well, as it is dry and arse!!

Hi chris good to see things are well ,i will be flying out to join you in june or july ,when is the ship due to get to dubai i hope to be there before that date lots of things to buy .have fun and i will see you when i join
